Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, witnessed the activities of the launching ceremony of the Egyptian Post, the “Yalla” application, which is the first super app in Egypt, the Middle East and Africa that provides various financial and non-financial solutions for individuals, merchants, companies and a provider of payment solutions (PSP), in cooperation with Visa International and Paysky.
And during the launch party; Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, confirmed that the Egyptian Post’s launch of the “Yalla” application comes within the framework of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s strategy to build a digital Egypt, where Egypt Post plays a pivotal role in implementing the programs and initiatives of this ambitious strategy. He explained the comprehensive development that Egypt Post is witnessing in terms of form and content through the expansion of the postal network and the development of its offices, as well as the automation of its work and the automation of the services it provides, while working in parallel to expand the provision of new types of services besides postal services to include government and financial services, foremost of which is an application. “Yalla”, which will provide wider access and contribute to enhancing financial inclusion for a larger number of citizens, especially young people, by enabling citizens to easily access a range of diverse financial services such as payment and receiving remittances.
